June 2010 - Jo Completes the Bluewater 10K

After previously not having run for over 20 years, Jo completed the Bluewater 10K race on Sunday 13th June. Jo began training with me in April and was keen to compete in the race, even though she hadn't run for such a long time.

Jo finished in just over an hour, which really was a fantastic achievement. Easy as it would be for me to take all the credit, she completed the majority of the running based training outside of our normal sessions and it was her determination and dedication that allowed her to succeed.

The only down side is that she somehow talked me into running the 2011 Brighton Marathon, which will also be my first!
