Bringing health and fitness to you
As with a lot of people, I enjoyed most sports as I grew up and participated in as many as I could. By the time I had reached my mid teens, I had represented my County at badminton, played football to a reasonably high standard and had been boxing for as long as I can remember.
Once I started work my ability and motivation to participate in any sport diminished, along with my fitness levels. At the beginning of 2006 aged 34, I weighed 137kg (approx 22st) and decided that a change of lifestyle was required (pictured right).

As of February 2010 I had managed to lose 47kg (approx 7.5st) and had never felt healthier or fitter, allowing me to achieve sporting/personal goals that had existed for years (left & below).
Although there were some significant changes to my lifestyle, the key to the results were hard work, eating sensibly (not a diet) and being realistic on what I could achieve given my personal circumstances.

One of the more significant changes in lifestyle was a change of career to become a full time Personal Trainer, allowing me to help and motivate others to achieve their individual goals.
I have also been very fortunate to have worked with local authorities, supporting Community Fit Club programmes for both adults and families and Kickboxing classes in schools. The CFC programmes are designed to provide knowledge/support to participants on healthy eating, physical activity and a realistic healthy lifestyle.
My training style is relaxed but motivational, as I appreciate that we all have to start somewhere but am committed to ensuring you meet your goals. Having actually been through my own journey, I know what to expect and the emotions/frustrations along the way.
